Meanwhile, Ten Years Later…

I’m still trying to figure this out ten years later.

What an eye-opener to find this after all this time has passed.

God has told me to write and the only writing I have done has been on social media. This will now be the space I share the joys Jesus brings.

What does that mean exactly?

He works in mysterious ways, as you may have heard a time or two.  The way He works with me is in themes.  I gather a variety of words and lessons from many areas and they all seem to align perfectly on the exact subject I just so happen to need.

Amazing how the King of Kings knows what I need.

I just love how God brings to light a story from the Bible and exposes me to so many interpretations, of course, all lining up with the truth.  Recently Moses has been the topic.  As I read the book, You’re The Girl For The Job by Jess Connolly, the story she shares immediately penetrates my heart. It’s a familiar story that has me relating so closely with the doubt in Moses’ heart when God asks him to lead the people.  Over and over again Moses states how he is not able due to the lack of eloquence in his speech. He compares himself to others, feeling ill equipt (insert comparison lesson 101 already in book 2 of the Bible, Exodus).

Later, at church, the message will just so happen to be about Moses and another lesson will be revealed by God. Don’t forget that each time the story comes up the lessons apply specifically to what I am walking through and trying to figure out and navigate ever so carefully.  He cares about every detail. He is in it all.

It doesn’t stop there. The Bible Study I joined last week in a book by an entirely different author will also just so happen to have a lesson on Moses.  Every single lesson will ignite in my heart in such a way that causes me to feel so loved, so heard, and so full of joy because of how intimate our Lord is.  He knows what I need and what you need too.

This sometimes goes on repeat for weeks from a variety of sources.  It will always amaze me and it will never get old.

This space will provide a place for me to share each and every joy Jesus brings, how He opens the eyes of my heart to see more of Him, how I am becoming more like Him and I give him all the glory and praise.

So stay tuned for more joys from Jesus.

Hello world!

I want to create a blog but not sure how to go about doing so consistently! Ha! I’d like it to be more than words so until I learn how to add pictures, words it is.
Blogging has been around for a long time and although I have created 2 and sometimes updated them I didn’t know enough about it to make it as enjoyable as I desire it to be. This will be another attempt. With that said, or shall I say, written, I am NOT going to give this blog an official name YET! As you come here to read my journey I hope you will be first and foremost pointed toward spending time with your Savior, Jesus Christ. Building that relationship first will always lead you to greater faith and trust in Him! THEN, your joy will overflow!

Blessings,
Cara
